Hello, my friends!

I have officially decided to start a homesteading blog that has been on my mind for the past couple of years. Zach and I created an Instagram account during the pandemic (woah, it will be almost three years ago now), that primarily included our amateur photography skills of birds in our yard. Yes, while I thought these photos were amazing -still do- I knew I wanted to provide more encouragement and education on the things in my life that I love: foraging, thrifting, cooking, creating a cozy home, and utilizing what you have.

So, here I am. Finally taking the time to develop this blog in hopes of inspiring others to dig down into our roots and create a life that is simple, meaningful, and nourishing for the mind, body, and soul.

I am so excited about this journey and hope you are too!
